Dicks Creek/David Stone
Volunteers gathered on March 3rd and toured the area of Dick's Creek and visited the old house site possibly owned by David Stone or one of his relatives. At the old house site still remains two standing chimneys. In front of both chimneys is a cellar with stone lining the top. The Stone family owned more than 600 acres in the area. This trip was also in relation to last's month tour of the area. The Segg family also owned land in the same area. It is possible that the old house site could have been of the Segg family.
